Types Retaining Walls

  • CMU - These Concrete Masonry Units are commonly used in the construction of retaining walls. The walls can be built very quickly.
     

  • Garden Wall Blocks - These are resilient materials, smaller than CMUs. These are available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
     

  • Natural Stone - These could be stacked boulders or PA fieldstone. This installation is more time-consuming, however, very beautiful.
