Retaining Walls
There are a number of features and elements that go into making a retaining wall. Interestingly, they are one of the most ignored features of the overall landscaping. This is probably because they are perceived to be less of aesthetic value and more functional in nature.

It’s true that the primary function of a retaining wall is prevention of soil erosion and to provide support to the sloping areas on the property. Now, it is possible to construct walls that enhance the beauty of the property.

Types Retaining Walls
Even though we maintain very high standards in our work, you will find that our retaining wall costs are very reasonable and that you get value for money when you hire our services. The common materials we use in retaining walls are:
-
CMU - These Concrete Masonry Units are commonly used in the construction of retaining walls. The walls can be built very quickly.
-
Garden Wall Blocks - These are resilient materials, smaller than CMUs. These are available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
-
Natural Stone - These could be stacked boulders or PA fieldstone. This installation is more time-consuming, however, very beautiful.
In addition to these we may use materials such as railroad ties. We can provide advice as to which materials will match your requirements best.
